4th Of July Graduation Party

This Summer we made a trip back to Ohio for a couple weeks. It was so much fun!

While we were home, my youngest brother Jack had his high school graduation party.

He wanted cupcake kabobs to share with the guests so I made these vanilla cupcakes with strawberry spacers. They were great and people loved them!

 As a surprise, I made Jack a cake that looked like a American flag when you cut into it.

(You can see the whole cake in the background to the left on the table.)

It was red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting... and 5 layers!!!

People loved it and it was so yummy too!

Jack is going to the University of Cincinnati and will be pursuing a degree in law enforcement. I thought the flag would be great for both 4th of July and his future profession!

Canadian cupcakes & some chocolate strawberry kabobs!

Here are some pics of what I have been up to recently!A co-worker of mine moved to Canada,

which was a perfect excuse for some Canadian flag cupcakes!

The circles and maple leaves were made with DELICIOUS marshmallow fondant

& the cupcakes were chocolate with oreo buttercreme frosting. Yum!

I also received a call late last week to make some of my favorite cupcakes (the kupcake kabob) as a surprise birthday delivery! Yay!

They turned out beautifully & were displayed so well in this bright pink box!

I hear they were a huge hit!

Rexburg Unplugged

Rexburg Unplugged was a great success! Thanks to all who came out to visit!

This Saturday is Rexburg Unplugged and your last chance for Huckleberry cupcakes! If you would like to order and pick up on Saturday to make sure there are Huckleberry left waiting for you let me know by Friday evening. Minimum order is 1 dozen mini's for Saturdays event.

I will also be bringing back the beloved Kupcake Kabobs! This time with strawberries and chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter cream cheese frosting! yum-o!

Farmers Market last Friday

It was a hot day last Friday... and the cupcakes took it alright. I will have to say that unless there is a special order, I will not be offering the Simply Strawberry at the Market. 95 degree weather does not do well with this frosting! However it was great for the S'mores!

TheM&M kupcake Kabobs were a hot item as well. It's amazing how many parents had to pull their kids away from the tempting sweets on a stick! (But some just had to give in!)

One happy customer took these treats to her friends that were coming to stay the weekend. She said she was going to put them in their hotel room before they arrived. What a clever idea and nice treat to discover after a day of traveling!

The market was a hit! If you would like to special order for next weeks market, let me know by Wednesday and I can have them their for you to pick up. All orders must be prepaid. This is great for any weekend parties you might be attending or just for a late night snack!

Rexburg Farmers Market!

I have not posted lately because I have been preparing fabulous cupcake flavors for the Rexburg Farmers Market! It had been very time consuming but will be worth it on Friday! The following flavors that will be there on Friday are:

Regular size: $1.50/cupcake and .75/mini
